    Threads

Rating:

Disaster:

Nuclear

Plot Summary:

A film about the effects of a nuclear holocaust on the working class city of Sheffield, England. Filmed like a documentary, it shows the long run effects of nuclear war on civilisation.

Comments:

'Threads' is a chillingly realistic film that illustrates the true, harsh reality of a nuclear holocaust. Told like a documentary, the film keeps the same disconnection from the characters within.

Special Effects:

The special effects are actually very good for a low budget production like this one. 'Threads' incorporates a mix of small scale model work and montages of nuclear explosion stock footage. Worth a look.
