Disaster:

Air Disaster

Plot Summary:

An account of the events surrounding the shooting down of commercial airliner KAL 007 by the Soviet air force in 1983. Over 280 people died in the incident.

Comments:

Essentially, more of a case study drama than a disaster movie, 'Tailspin: Behind the Korean Airliner Tragedy' manages to couple a fast pace with realistic and engaging dialogue making the film entertaining, informative and enjoyable to watch. However, the lack of any actual disaster scenes may fail to impress the more avid disaster movie fan.
