Rating:

Disaster:

Air Disaster

Plot Summary:

This is an account of the Korean Airlines flight 007 disaster, in which a passenger plane was shot down over Russia. The film follows the mother of one of the passengers who died in the disaster, as she searches for the reason why the disaster occurred.

Comments:

'Shootdown' is a rather dull experience overall. The characters are so dull that there is very little emotion created in the viewer. The majority of the film is spent trying to discover the reasons for the accident rather than focusing on the disaster itself. Not recommended.
