    Ordeal in the Arctic

Rating:

Disaster:

Air Disaster

Plot Summary:

An army cargo/transport plane goes down in bad weather in Canada's high wilderness above the Arctic Circle.

Comments:

'Ordeal in the Arctic' is a true tale of human endurance and heroism, similar in many ways to 'Alive' and 'Survive'. The film is quite entertaining and the characters are engaging enough to involve you in the film and keep you watching until the end. Overall, it's a film you probably wouldn't watch more than once.

Special Effects:

The special effects for the initial crash are quite impressive, although very brief. Most shots were done using a scale model of the actual aircraft.
