    Mayday: 40,000 ft.

Rating:

Disaster:

Air Disaster

Plot Summary:

A ruthless killer is to be transported to New York on board flight 602. He manages to overcome the policeman who is escorting him and shoots some of the passengers and in doing so, cripples the aircraft, making both flying and landing the plane almost impossible for the pilot.

Comments:

This film is obviously the inspiration for 'Turbulence'. The film is a little slow to get started, but once underway is fairly enjoyable. The characters also lack impact as well. 'Mayday: 40,000 ft.' makes for an interesting view the first time but offers nothing special as far as air disaster movies go.
