Plot Summary:

A Boeing 767 takes off from Montreal and discovers, shortly into the journey that they have very little fuel. They soon run out and have to land the plane without any fuel at all...

Comments:

'Falling From the Sky: Flight 174' is a very realistic and quite enjoyable hour and a half. The dialogue is easy to follow and the characters are enjoyable to watch. The suspense is also well maintained from start to finish. Apparently based on a true story.

Special Effects:

The special effects were about what you would expect for a mid nineteen nineties TV movie. Computer graphics were used for the final crash landing scene and, although obvious, were still mostly convincing. Watch it for the drama not the effects.
