Rating:

Disaster:

Nuclear

Plot Summary:

The staff and students of a school in a small rural town in the USA, receive warning of an imminent nuclear attack, and are unsure of whether it is real or not. They discover that a nearby school received the same alert and soon the phones are jammed and no one can get any further information...

Comments:

This is a dated but still intriguing film about how nuclear war (or the threat of) can affect people, particularly children. The story is simple enough and easy to watch. The ending is left up to individual interpretation. A great piece of anti-nuclear cinema.
