    Final Run

Rating:

Disaster:

Train Wreck

Plot Summary:

A brand new passenger train is out of control and seems unstoppable. People soon realise that it will leave the tracks and plough straight into a hospital unless 'Lucky' Singer can stop it in time.

Comments:

I would love to know why Hollywood deems it necessary to create disaster movies where a hero saves the day and the disaster never occurs. The plot sounds promising but this TV movie offers nothing that we haven't seen a hundred time before. No disaster, boring dialogue with good potential that went unrealised. A poor sequel to 'Final Descent'.

Special Effects:

The special effects, what little there were, were limited to some brief and run of the mill computer special effects shots. The final crash scene was good but obviously done using computers. Still, there has been much worse attempts at computer special effects than this.
