Comments: |
'The Death of Ocean View Park'
is a little known and hard to find film that was obviously made
to cash in on the disaster movie fad of the seventies. The acting
was believable and the characters were enjoyable to watch. My
only criticism is that the plot was a little to shallow and unbelievable.
Certain characters seemed to jump to sudden conclusions with
little to no evidence. However, it was still an enjoyable film,
but probably not one that you would watch more than once. |
Special
Effects: |
The special effects were very well
done, but a little over the top. Why the park continued to explode
at random intervals during the disaster scenes was a little unclear,
but the actual effects themselves were excellent. What makes
them excellent is that they were all real. The rollercoaster
explosion shots were full scale explosions, not miniatures. Overall,
good effects and an average story. |
