    Aftershock: Earthquake in New York

Rating:

Disaster:

Earthquake

Plot Summary:

A massive earthquake hits New York City, leaving it in ruins. The survivors must get out of the city to safety whilst chaos reigns, and aftershocks continue to rattle the already ruined city.

Comments:

This film followed the typical disaster movie format and kept a good pace. It's only let down was the fairly stereotyped, non-involving characters and the lack of any really impressive building collapses.

Special Effects:

The producers of this film are to be praised for taking the time, and obviously the money, to produce a film that uses 100% of its own special effects. No stock footage, no scenes borrowed from other films, all unique and mostly convincing effects.
