    Avalanche

Rating:

Disaster:

Storm

Plot Summary:

A disastrous avalanche in snow covered mountains seems destined to occur and destroy a ski resort, turning the vacationers holiday into a nightmare of destruction.

Comments:

Another classic disaster movie made at the end of seventies disaster film fad. The drama prior to the avalanche is a little tedious and as such 'Avalanche' misses out on a perfect score.

Special Effects:

The special effects were surprisingly good and better than I had expected considering that 'Avalanche' was never a very popular or appreciated film. Thankfully, computer graphics were yet to be invented and as such the avalanche appears a lot more realistic than many of the modern alternatives to this film.
